Cricket Week 2020 Application Form
Cricket Week aims to provide adult women of all abilities the opportunity to play cricket and develop their skills in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Cricket Week is held in the picturesque village of Colwall, on the Herefordshire side of the Malvern Hills, and has been in every peacetime year since 1927.
Teams are composed randomly from players’ application forms, and play a variety of matches throughout the week. There’s also a highly social element to the week, with events laid on most evenings and the traditional “last night” held on the Friday. Players come from all over the country and from abroad and are of widely varying standards, from complete beginner to county standard. There are even a few former internationals, and the odd legend.

Cricket Week really is an event to attend regardless of your standard of cricket, and as such represents a unique opportunity for women cricketers. The aim of the week is to create a pleasant and friendly atmosphere in which to play cricket and learn new skills without the pressure of league points or having to rush home after the game to go back to work the next day!
